They symbolised humility & sincerity.

Smooth polished back.
Chunky loop ring bail.

Side hinged opening.

Two oval base metal clips inside.

Later added red material and plastic covers.
Really nice quality example.

Hallmarked A.S. & W.S.S. to the back.

Antique worn before.
Well looked after and nice and clean.

It has been lightly polished and is ready to wear.
