Antique Victorian solid 15ct gold ruby and seed pearl bee fly brooch.
Detail. Solid 15ct gold. Lovely bright yellow gold. Unusual bee fly motif. Old round cut natural ruby. Five natural seed pearls to the wings, three missing. Simple hinged safety pin with catch. Safety chain and pin. No hallmarks but tests as solid 15ct gold.
Condition. Antique worn before. Nice and clean. Pin fastening works well. The fly is missing three seed pearls. These could be replaced and reflected in the price. It has been polished and is ready to wear. Please see all pictures.
Size. Approximately - 3.3 cm wide x 1.1 cm high overall. 2.5 mm ruby. 1 - 1.5 mm seed pearls.
