Antique Victorian solid 9ct gold garnet seed pearl navette ring in a size J 1/2.
Detail. Solid 9 carat gold. Lovely bright yellow colour. Central square cut natural garnet with unusual facets. Surrounded by four claw set natural seed pearls. Navette style. Fluted detail to the tapered shoulders. Comfortable rounded cross section. Unmarked but tests as 9ct gold.
Condition. Antique worn before. Well looked after and nice and clean. Garnet and seed pearls clean and secure. There are some very tiny marks to the garnet when examining closely. Nothing noticeable when wearing. It has been resized historically. It has been polished and is ready to wear. Please see all pictures.
Size. Approximately - Ring size J 1/2. The garnet measures 5.5 mm. The pearls each measure 2 mm. The face of the ring measures 15 x 7 mm.
